The context
A senior executive in career transition
Our client is a senior executive working within a large international group in the luxury and technology sector, where she held a management position with cross-functional responsibilities. As part of an internal reorganization, she faced a major career transition, requiring structured, supportive, and ambitious guidance.
The group, keen to support this transition with dignity, entrusted OREANCE with the implementation of a comprehensive individual outplacement and coaching follow-up program, placing the successful repositioning of the beneficiary at the heart of the mission.
The stakes
Supporting a transition with high standards and compassion
A career transition at this level of responsibility is not simply a matter of looking for a job. It involves in-depth work on one's professional identity, skills, motivations, and aspirations — even before considering the market and available opportunities.
The objectives of this mission were multifaceted: to help the beneficiary clarify her career goals in line with her skills and aspirations, to provide her with the tools to position herself effectively in the job market, and to support her until she successfully integrates into her new role. All of this within a confidential, supportive, and fully personalized framework.
Our approach
A four-phase process, from assessment to integration
The program was structured around four complementary phases, deployed over six months with one weekly session of 1.5 to 2 hours, adapted to the pace and availability of the beneficiary.
There diagnostic and assessment phase made it possible to identify the main personality characteristics, professional skills and deep motivations of the beneficiary, using personality tests, self-assessment tools and in-depth introspective interviews.
There action phase offered a personalized program alternating individual work, interview simulations, positioning workshops and field surveys, guiding the beneficiary towards defining a clear professional project and an effective job search strategy.
There implementation phase accompanied the beneficiary in the analysis and negotiation of identified opportunities, up to the signing of her new contract.
There coaching follow-up phase provided support throughout the trial period in the new position, to promote a successful and lasting integration.
The results
A successful repositioning, a supported integration
- Career plan clarified by the end of the diagnostic phase
- Positioning and communication strategy developed and implemented
- New position identified and negotiated with the support of the consultant
- Ongoing and supported integration throughout the trial period
- Program conducted with full respect for confidentiality with respect to the client group
